Then my laptop powered on by itself and then, the game wouldn't load. I hit the power button multiple times but to no avail. The game froze with a loud beeping sound, and then my laptop broke down. His body was a normal logged-out player (explorer) body, but it was covered in pixelated blood, had red pupils, and a huge grin on his face of pure evil.

Then in literally a minute, Driift went offline without a reason, and then the mysterious player appeared in front of me again, only this time, he was visible. When it loaded, I saw Driift, and he asked 'Where were you yesterday?' I said to him 'Just taking a day break, I'm back now'. The next day, I decided to try Manyland one last time. No strange occurrences happened there so I kept playing the whole day. The next day, the only thing I played was Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and I completely left Manyland and BEO2. The game then began to glitch out, colours switching, inverting themselves, and while all this was happening, a split second before the screen cut to black and the game shut off, I saw the player's name tag change to 'Die'. When I respawned, he said 'Don't try to fight back, I can never leave.'. Before I could bring up his profile and report him, he grabbed a gun and killed me again. I said 'Alright, you freak, I've had enough, I'm reporting you.'. Soon enough, he was right in front of me. I put him on marker, and he was getting closer every second. I checked my friends list and sure enough, 'He' was online, 87 steps away from me. He said he really had to and went offline.
I begged him to stay for just a little while longer, knowing who would come if he left.

I agreed, and we got to work.Īfter about three full hours of building, Driift said he was worn out and needed a rest, so he went offline. I went to where Driift was and he suggested making the area more than just a giant Yoshi statue. Went I went online Driift pinged me from the area with the Yoshi statue and the mysterious player was offline. I then sent him a message telling him the whole thing so far, but he just said 'Nice story there, now please come on Manyland.'. I got a message from Driift on Google Hangouts saying that he finished eating and asked me to come on Manyland. And instead of the screen fading to white and respawning me like it normally would, the screen just cut to black and then the game shut off. Instead of the normal death animation, my character exploded into little tiny pieces, pixelated blood splattering everywhere, and instead of the normal death sound, a sound that didn't even exist in the game played, a very realistic blood splattering sound. The only way I could get away was to do what he said to do. When I tried to go to another area, he would grab a gun from his inventory and kill me with it. I was freaked out now so I tried to run away from the player, but he somehow had edits when only me and Driift had edits in the area and placed invisible blocks in front of me so I couldn't leave. Hesitantly, I followed the player, and he lead me to a gap in the ground and he then told me to jump down it. I went to my private area, where he pinged me from, and then he just said to me 'Follow.'. As soon as he went offline, and I mean, AS SOON AS he went offline, the mysterious player pinged me from my private area. We played for a bit, just messing around, working on some other areas that we stopped with when we built the Yoshi statue, and then Driift went offline to eat. We played it, and then went back to Manyland.
The next day, I went online in Manyland, Driift was back, and then he said he wanted to play some Bad Eggs Online 2. I then went offline and left the game for a day.
I added him to my friends list so I could keep an eye on this mysterious player. He then proceeded to jump off the Yoshi statue, and then he respawned inside of it. I said to the person 'Hi, how did you find this place?'. I saw a trail too, almost as if another player was in front of me, but nothing was there. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I heard what sounded like the footsteps sound effect. Sometimes, he comes back online within a minute or so, so I waited. In about an hour, we completed building the statue, but then Driift abruptly went offline and I was alone. It was a normal day, I was playing Manyland, building a giant Yoshi statue with my friend, Driift. In other words, Manyland is a 2D Minecraft. For anyone who hasn't heard of this game it is a 2D sandbox MMO game where people can chat, build, and pretty much do anything they want.
